Here is a brand new Common track called “Announcement” it features and was produced by Pharrel. The beat is crazy and Common does a great job on the verses! Its a really hot song that will do really well on the charts. Common always brings something hot so I am anticipating the new album!

Alicia Keys’ single “Teenage Love Affair” was a favourite of mine from her best selling album “As I Am.” It was remixed with new vocals and a feature by LL Cool J. Its nice they switched the song up for the remix, however I prefer the original so much better.

New Mashonda!

You might remember Mashonda as the ex-wife of Swizz Beatz or from her debut album “January Joy.” It turns out that Mashonda is still doing what she loves and I have found two new tracks from her. The first called “All Or Nothing” features Lady Saw and the second is a song called “No Panties.” I must say neither of these songs better some of the songs on January Joy. She might need to release something hotter to get noticed again.

New Music Post!

Here is a new one by Michelle Williams. The snippet of this and the remix with a different beat has been on the net a while. However now we have the full original version of it. The track really represents Michelle’s new sound in music and is a good option for the album. I love the song and I am sure many others will!
Hello Heartbreak

Christina Milian is signed with Myspace Records which is under the major label Interscope Records. I am glad Christina Milian is bouncing back into the music world after so long, she has been working on her new album for a while now and here is a new track to have surfaced from her called “All I Need To Know.” The track features Voyce Alexander. This is a nice song with a great beat but nothing that stands out particularly amoung tracks out at the moment.

Music Catch Up!

Asia Cruise released her debut single “Selfish” earlier this year and that failed to chart as well as expected. This is a new song called “Walk Me Out” which is the new single to promote the album due sometime this year. This is a very soft laid back song, that I have been playing as of late, definitely a grower if you don’t like it on first listen. Not sure how it will do on the charts but I think it combines a bit of pop and rnb in a nice way.

As I called the post music catch up, I have here most of the new Ciara tracks that have surfaced in relation to all the studio time she has been putting in for the new album “Fantasy Ride.” The first is a snippet of “High Price” featuring Ludacris which is the rumoured first single. I love the snippet as it is different because she combines her crunk n b with opera singing, classic in my opinion lol! Next up is Click Flash, which many people don’t like on first listen but then start to like after the 2nd and 3rd. Lastly is Supernatural which is a nice track but overall I think its pretty forgetable as it isn’t that strong a track.

I did a New On The Scene on Shontelle way back when I had the blogspot blog. This is the new single off the album Shontelligence which is yet to have a release date. I think Shontelle has a nice tone to her voice, and its great she writes all her own songs. Check out her new single and I will be on the lookout for moire news on her!

New Music Post!

I remember way back in 2007 Eve was supposed to release her new album in years appropriately titled “Here I Am.” However due to Tambourine the lead single failing to climb up the charts the album was pushed back to this year. A whole lot of new recordings were done and this is one of the songs to go on the album. Its a song featuring Robin Thicke and is said to be the new first single. I love Eve and hope she gets success but this jusyt doesn’t pop out at me too much, then again I thought Tambourine would pop out and get multiple number 1’s but that didn’t go exactly to plan… Check this one out tho!

Check out this one by Robin Thicke, it’s called “Magic” and is the first single off his new album called “Something Else.” I really love the song, Robin channels that old school soul feel to music. You may recognize the song from a samsung advert if you live in Europe.

The lovely Jennifer Hudson premiered her video for Spotlight earlier this week on a pre-BET Awards show. Jennifer looks great and this is a great song that is already doing well on the charts. Lil Mama “What It Is (Strike A Pose)” Music Video!

Lil Mama’s new single off her debut album is called “What It Is (Stike A Pose)” it features T-Pain and is a fun song. Lil Mama always brings it in her video with wacky cool ideas and I love that. I think Lil Mama is def a force to be reckoned with her lyrics are amazing most of the time!

Which Version Do You Prefer?

The song is called “Heartbeat” and Pharrel did a version of this song featuring Nicole Scherzinger for possible inclusion on her solo effort “Her Name Is Nicole.” However it went to Madonna in the end who put it on her album “Hard Candy.” I like the song and the beat but really do think I like the Nicole one and think if it was all finalised properly it would beeb even better, but I think i like Madonna’s a bit better!  I have uploaded both versions for your judgement!

Hey just want to say thanks for the messages about the return of the blog. Also just want to say sorry if it seems like I am not posting much at all, I know I am not lol. The reason being I am pretty much just getting into blogging in wordpress its hard cos I am soo used to blogger, I am also looking into adding the features like I did before. Michelle’s TRL Interview!

This is Michelle Williams on TRL last week. She was hilarious, loving and it was generally a well rounded interview that showed her personality and a bit about her single “We Break The Dawn.” Michelle has been doing some major promo which makes it sad that (as I have heard) her single hasn’t had many adds at radio, however I am sure she will do well in the coming weeks.
